Cultivating Alignment Within: An Immersive Mind Body Experience

There are moments when stepping away from routine creates space for something important to shift. A new perspective. A deeper sense of connection. A clearer understanding of what it means to truly feel well.

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, The Health Partnership invites community members, professionals, and wellness advocates to gather for the 14th Annual Yampa Valley Wellness Conference, a full day dedicated to alignment, reflection, and meaningful growth.

This year’s theme, Cultivating Alignment Within: An Immersive Mind Body Experience, centers on reconnecting with ourselves and each other in ways that support lasting well being.

Hosted at the inspiring setting of The Hayden Center, this annual conference continues a tradition that has brought the Yampa Valley community together since 2011.

A Day Designed for Real Life Wellness

Wellness is not a checklist. It is something we build through awareness, connection, and intentional action.

This conference creates space for participants to slow down, learn from experienced speakers, and engage in conversations that support both personal and professional growth. Through immersive sessions and shared experiences, attendees will explore how alignment between mind and body strengthens resilience, clarity, and overall well being.

Whether you work in healthcare, education, nonprofit leadership, business, or are simply someone who cares about living well, this conference offers something meaningful for you.

Keynote Speaker: Jeff Wozer

Unplug to Recharge

Digital balance has become one of the most urgent wellness conversations of our time. Drawing from his own story of digital distraction, Jeff Wozer empowers audiences to master technology rather than be mastered by it.

In this engaging keynote, attendees will explore how to curb screen checking compulsions, reclaim focus, and experience what Jeff calls life’s magic time. That space where we are fully present, deeply engaged, and operating at our most productive and meaningful best.

This session offers practical strategies for individuals and professionals seeking healthier relationships with technology in both work and home life.

Keynote Speaker: Kim Hess

Mountaineer. Motivator. Storyteller.

From the summit of Mt. Everest to the most hostile environments on Earth, Kim Hess brings extraordinary perspective to the power of resilience and grit.

Fewer than 60 people in the world have completed the Explorers Grand Slam, climbing the highest peak on each continent and traversing to both the North and South Poles. Only 12 are women. Kim is currently pursuing the goal of becoming the youngest American woman to complete this feat.

Through powerful storytelling, Kim connects extreme adventure to everyday leadership and life challenges. Her keynote explores perseverance, mindset, courage, and the importance of perspective in navigating personal and professional obstacles.

Her message is clear. Growth happens when we choose to move forward, even when conditions are difficult.

Interactive Workshop: The Imagine Project

This year’s conference also features a creative writing workshop led by The Imagine Project.

The Imagine Project’s mission is simple and powerful: giving kids a voice for positive change in their lives and those of future generations.

Through a research based 7 step writing process, The Imagine Project provides tools for self expression, personal growth, and emotional well being. Their work has reached over 750,000 children across the United States and in 48 countries.

Conference attendees will experience this reflective, empowering writing process firsthand. The workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to explore self expression, compassion, resilience, and hope.

The Imagine Project envisions a world where every child and individual feels seen, heard, and empowered. This workshop embodies the spirit of this year’s conference theme by creating space for personal alignment and emotional clarity.

Why This Conference Matters

In rural and mountain communities, access to wellness resources, professional development, and supportive spaces can be limited. The Yampa Valley Wellness Conference exists to close that gap.

Each year, the conference creates opportunities for people to:

• Strengthen their mental and emotional well being
• Learn practical tools they can apply in daily life
• Connect with others who care about community health
• Gain new insight into holistic, whole person wellness
• Feel grounded in a shared sense of purpose and belonging

This is not just a conference. It is a community experience rooted in growth, compassion, and possibility.

Rooted in Community Since 2011

For more than a decade, the Yampa Valley Wellness Conference has welcomed hundreds of participants from across Northwest Colorado and beyond. What makes this event unique is its focus on both professional insight and human connection.

Attendees consistently leave feeling more aligned, more informed, and more connected to themselves and their community.

The conversations that begin here continue long after the day ends, strengthening the networks that support wellness across the Yampa Valley.
